Jones Lang LaSalle announces big real estate transactions at Devens Industrial Park

The Boston office of the commercial real estate firm Jones Lang LaSalle said that over the last three months, its industrial team has executed 605,545 square feet of transactions in the Devens Industrial Park, the site of a former military installation in Central Massachusetts.
One of those transactions was a sale for 15 Independence Drive, in which O’Reilly Auto Parts paid $20.7 million to buy a 370,545-square-foot warehouse distribution facility from Hackman Capital Partners, Oak Tree Capital, and Calare Properties. The facility has 57 loading docks and easy access to Route I-495. Jones Lang LaSalle represented O’Reilly Auto Parts in the transaction.
Meanwhile, Quiet Logistics leased all of 235 Barnum Road, a 184,000-square-foot temperature controlled warehouse/distribution facility that is owned by Inland American Realty Trust. According to its website, Quiet Logistics helps companies with Internet retail operations to deliver a “personalized customer experience.” Jones Lang LaSalle represented Inland American Realty Trust, and the real estate firm Colliers International represented Quiet Logistics in the transaction.
