DEVENS — Democratic gubernatorial candidate and Attorney General Martha Coakley says the project for the pipeline proposed to run through the Nashoba Valley region needs more transparency.
Speaking at a public policy forum with business leaders on Friday, Coakley told concerned residents that her office is looking into multiple issues surrounding the natural gas pipeline, which could run from New York to Dracut and cut through towns such as Groton, Pepperell and Townsend.
Discussion on the pipeline was prompted when Groton resident Richard Hewitt, a member of the Stop the Pipeline Coordinating Committee, asked Coakley what her general views are on the proposed Kinder Morgan project.
