DEVENS — A table of six young people sat debating last week whether Shriver Job Corps should be called a last-chance stop or, conversely, a hope for a second chance.
They agreed the school is the start of something good for them.
“Great opportunity to make my life better and get on the right path,” said Kimberly Aun, of Fitchburg.
Job Corps hasn’t always had a great reputation, so Devens Center Director Tamer Koheil is protective of his school’s image and students’ behaviors.
