USAG Fort Devens welcomes new command sergeant major

FORT DEVENS, Mass. (Dec. 15, 2014) — In a change of responsibility ceremony Dec. 15, Command Sgt. Maj. Jacqueline M. Coleman took over as U.S. Army Garrison Fort Devens command sergeant major.

Coleman received the unit colors from Command Sgt. Maj. Angel Ortiz-Guzman, the outgoing garrison command sergeant major, during the ceremony in the Hall of Flags. Ortiz-Guzman had been at USAG Fort Devens since March 2013.

Coleman comes to Fort Devens from U.S. Army Garrison Yongsan in Seoul, Korea, where she was Army Reserve Engagement Team sergeant major. She entered the Army in March 1985 and has served in Operation Enduing Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom and in Desert Shield/Storm.
