DEVENS — The Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce will relocate to Phoenix Park in Shirley this fall, moving into newly renovated space in an office park buzzing with businesses that are also chamber members.
“The move to Phoenix Park places the chamber right in a dynamic business cluster where we will share facilities with many of our members. This will further energize our chamber, provide inspiration for our services and member benefits, and allow greater opportunity for networking and synergies between our member businesses,” chamber President and CO Melissa Fetterhoff said in a statement Wednesday announcing the move. “We remain committed to serving our entire 17-town region, including Devens and Ayer, where we will retain a significant presence through our activities and outreach.”
After 10 years at the Sherman Avenue location, the chamber is departing at the end of its lease for 2 Shaker Road, Shirley. The move provides MassDevelopment an opportunity to consider future uses for the entire facility, including the chamber’s suite, adjacent to the popular playing fields and housing.
