The annual meeting of the Friends of the Oxbow National Wildlife Refuge will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 24 at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Pavilion located on Hospital Road in Devens.
A guided walk will occur at 1 p.m. Participants can meet in the parking lot at the pavilion and observe waterfowl on one of the backwater ponds.
Two programs will occur after the meeting. First, Wilson Andres Acuna will briefly talk about his folded paper insects, several of which are on display. He will explain how and why he created these replicas from the world of arthropods.
