HARVARD — The Town of Harvard’s Master Plan Steering Committee invites the public to a presentation on the relevance of Devens to the Town of Harvard. The presentation will describe items recommended for inclusion in Harvard’s new Master Plan, as developed by the Committee and the consulting firm Burns & McDonnell.
Harvard + (?) Devens will take place on Thursday, Nov. 12 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Volunteers’ Hall in the Harvard Public Library, at 4 Pond Road in Harvard.
The presentation is open to the public. Admission is free.
Join the Committee and the Planning Board for a presentation that assesses risks and benefits important to the Harvard Master Plan and vital to the question of whether Harvard should resume jurisdiction of its historic lands at Devens. The presentation will explore the economic, conservation and open space, and cultural and historic aspects of both “status quo” and “reunification” scenarios. A Q&A session will follow.
