The Harvard Schools Trust announced the lineup for its upcoming 27th annual Dinner-Theater Gala to be held on March 12 in Harvard.
The spring gala is an annual Harvard event that brings the community together in support of the schools. This year’s gala begins with an award-winning comedy performed by the Bromfield Drama Society, directed by Martha Brooks, theater arts. It’s the drama society’s entry into the 2016 Massachusetts High School Festival competition, which includes 112 one-act plays produced by member high schools.
The play begins at 6 p.m. at Cronin Auditorium, the Bromfield School, 14 Massachusetts Ave., Harvard. Attendees will then walk together up the hill to the Fellowship Building, 7 Elm St., where they will have a dinner catered by Lucia’s Tavola. The dinner event begins at 7:15 p.m. and features live music and a silent auction with products and services from local artisans and businesses. Auction items include summer camp sessions, gift baskets from Harvard Sweet Boutiques, Martha Stewart scrapbooking and Kim’s Custom Soaps, plus artwork, jewelry, concert tickets and photography sessions.
