Harvard Student wins Bromfield Geographic Bee

Matt Atwell, a seventh-grade student at Bromfield School in Harvard, won the school-level competition of the National Geographic Bee on Dec. 23. The school-level bee, where students answered oral questions on geography, was the first round in the 28th annual National Geographic Bee.

Earlier in December, Atwell and second-place finisher Julian Iverson won their way into the school-level bee during preliminary classroom competitions. Other participants included sixth-graders Faith Massoni, Chloe
